Los Hermanos Familia is proud to present the 2021 Adelante Awards, that will recognize Hispanic male recipients in 14 categories based on the following criteria.

DEADLINE: November 15, 2020, at 11:55 PM

NOMINATION CRITERIA:

  • Demonstrate contributions and outstanding work which benefits the entire community relating to specific category.
  • Demonstrate community service and leadership skills.
  • Be a positive role model for the community, focusing on the Hispanic community.

CATEGORY (Please select two categories below)

Nominees must be present to accept award.

DESCRIPTION FOR EACH CATEGORY:

  • Education - Including but not limited to education professionals, teachers, principals, professors, aides, field specialists, actively working in the educational field.
  • Medical - Including but not limited to health professionals, doctors, nurses, medical technicians, medical field specialists, or any career actively working in the medical field.
  • Business - Limited to business owners, professional entrepreneurs, or any individual actively working in a family-owned business.
  • Professional - Including but not limited to financiers, attorneys, accountants, bankers, or any individual actively working in a professional field.
  • First Responder - Including but not limited to police officers, peace officers, highway patrol, detectives, firefighters, EMTs, or any individuals working in a related field of service.
  • Military/Veteran - Including but not limited to active military excelling in active service, or a veteran advocating or serving in a related capacity, or who has excelled in their service to the community.
  • Church - Including but not limited to ministers, priests, church administrators, church leaders, church organizations, youth ministers, youth organization leaders, or a group related to the church community.
  • Civic/Volunteer - Including but not limited to volunteers, nonprofit organization leaders, professionals in human services, professionals in local, state or federal government or any human interest service providers.
  • Media - Including but not limited to journalist in all mediums, reporters, disc jockeys, or any individuals working or volunteering in a related field.
  • Arts & Entertainment - Including but not limited to performers, artists in all mediums, musicians, or any individuals working or volunteering in a related field.
  • Athlete/Athletics Supporter - Including but not limited to an individual who has made significant contributions of time to an athletic program, coaches, trainers, or to an athlete that has excelled in a sport.
  • Up-and-Comer - Including but not limited a university, junior college, or technical student or young professional worthy of recognition for their community or college involvement and contributions to the community.
  • Youth (Up to 17) - Including but not limited to a high school or middle school student worthy of recognition for their community contribution, and academic performance.
*Past recipients of each category are not eligible to be nominated at this time.

 

*The Lifetime Achievement Award is selected by the Los Hermanos Familia Committee.
